300g caster sugar
75ml water
2 egg whites
100g whole unblanched almonds
100g hazelnuts
50g unsalted pistachios
1 tbsp orange blossom water or vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions
1. Prepare the dried fruit:
Preheat the oven to 150Β°C (300Β°F).
Spread the almonds, hazelnuts, and pistachios on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes. This enhances their flavor. Set aside.
