Goat cheese appetizer with fig jam and toasted walnuts

Preparation :

Prepare the roasted nuts:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

Spread the nuts on a baking sheet and toast them for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.

Allow to cool and roughly crush.

Prepare the aperitif:

Place the goat cheese on a plate or platter.

Spread the fig jam evenly.

Sprinkle with toasted walnuts.

Drizzle with a little honey (optional). Garnish with fresh thyme and a pinch of black pepper.

Service :

Serve with toast or crackers. Enjoy as an appetizer at receptions or special dinners.
