No-Bake Oat Cookies

Ingredients (12 to 15 biscuits)

200g of oat flakes

120g of peanut butter
-
100g of dark chocolate
-
80 ml of milk
-
60g of sugar (or honey / maple syrup)

30g of butter
-
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation
Chocolate base

In a saucepan, heat the milk, sugar and butter.

Add the chocolate and mix until melted.
Add the peanut butter

Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Stir in the oats

Add the oat flakes and mix well.
Shaping
-
Place mounds of dough onto baking paper.

Flatten slightly.
Rest
-
Place in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes until they harden.
Tips

Add nuts, coconut, or chocolate chips
-
A healthier version: replace the sugar with honey or blended dates.

Storage: 4–5 days in the refrigerator
